Funny how many maps received censorship on their mainscreen, yet this one seems to have slipped the net :hmm:

I think this map can be deleted?
The original HL Deathmatch version can be found here.
Also there's already a Counter-Strike version of this map.

Unless this version has some sort of zombie mod tweaks ( as this is the category it's been uploaded into ). Then the deletion request can be ignored & the "System map, included in Steam cache"-box should be unticked.

Haven't launched this map but the site mentions 40 slots which is different to both the original HL Deathmatch ( 18 slots ) & Counter-Strike ( 31 slots ) versions.

P.s.: To whoever decides to actually delete this map; give a little notification in the shoutbox if you will.

Since this was in the "Zm_" category I wanted to test this map to make sure it indeed was a bomb/defiuse one as the map prefix suggested before moving it to the "De_" section.
While doing so I stumbled upon a strange, I guess, "bug".
The moment you land in the water from a certain height the player takes damage. As the water wouldn't be there.

I then quickly launched de_aztec to see if something like 'taking damage while landing in water' would have accidentally being changed after the Steam cock-up because of the Half-Life 25th anniversary update, ( read: having to use beta to be able to play 1.6 ) but I could not replicate this error so to speak.

I don't have any map editor installed for the moment but I guess the water in this map is not set as water.

P:s: Very small map with only 1 bombsite.

The De_dust2_balans map is unique in its ability to change its mode depending on the number of players.
At the very beginning, the game takes place on a 2x2 mod, as soon as there are 12+ players, the entire map turns on, there will be fewer players, and part of the map will close again.
Answers to frequently asked questions:
Q: Do all players and HLTV count?
A: No, only those who play are counted, HLTV, Specters and other observers are not counted.
A known bug:
With 11 players, the gate opens anyway, I am aware of it, but with a decrease in players by one more, everything becomes normal, so do not be afraid)).
In the future, I will work on this feature in order to achieve a smoother transition between mods and bug elimination. This map was made for the most part to prove to many that the game can do this without a plugin (because many people argued to me that this is not feasible).
